After approximately one year, we are presenting to the public the artworks that the Záhorie Gallery acquired in 2024, either by purchase or donation. Most of the artists are those who have previously held solo exhibitions in the gallery (Dominika Brečková, Štefan Orth, Bohumil Bača), or whose works visitors have seen in group exhibitions in recent years (Iveta Tomanová). An exception is the series of paintings by the young painter Alexandra Barth (*1989, Malacky), a regional artist who currently lives in Italy. The series consists of seven paintings, of which two were purchased by the gallery and five were donated. Due to the large format of the works, only the paintings acquired by purchase will be exhibited. The purchase of works by Dominika Brečková was supported from public funds by the Slovak Arts Council.
